MIAM

A MIAM (Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting) is the starting point for understanding how to move forward after a separation. It offers a clear, practical overview of the mediation process and helps you explore the best path ahead.

In this informative session, you’ll gain:

  • A better understanding of your options
  • Insight into how mediation works
  • A structured outline for the next steps

Leave the meeting more confident, informed, and with a clearer sense of direction.

Child Arrangement Plan

Creating a clear Child Arrangement Plan lays the groundwork for a positive co-parenting journey. It helps both parents establish new boundaries and gain clarity during what is often a difficult and emotionally charged time.

A well-structured plan provides stability for the children and promotes healthier, more cooperative communication between adults.

Property & Finance

The process begins with a full and transparent disclosure of all assets and liabilities from both parties—prepared to meet court standards.

From there, we work through each element of the financial picture to begin constructive negotiations.

The goal is to develop fair and practical proposals, with the intention of reaching a mutually agreed settlement.

Child Inclusive Mediation

With the parents’ consent, a specially trained Child Inclusive Mediator can meet with the child in a safe, confidential, and impartial setting.

This gives the child an opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings, helping to ensure that their voice is heard and considered as part of the decision-making process.

Mediator’s Certificate

A Mediator’s Certificate is issued following the completion of a MIAM or when mediation has broken down.

This certificate allows a client to move forward with a court application, either independently or through a solicitor.

It is a necessary step when applying to court using forms such as Form A (financial matters) or Form C100 (child arrangements).

Government Voucher

The Government Voucher Scheme provides up to £500 in funding to support mediation focused on child arrangements.

The voucher is applied for on your behalf and allocated directly to your case.

This initiative has been well-received and helps families access mediation services without upfront costs, making early support more accessible during separation.
